For those travelers, the best option is Milwaukee Mitchell International (MKE) right in the capital city of Wisconsin.
While Milwaukee may be farther to the Whistling Straits than Sheboygan, usually a one-hour roadtrip via the Interstate 43, the airport has much larger facilities as well as regular commercial flight operations being located in a major city.
